City
Boundaries General Information
Many people are confused by what actually
is and is not in the City of Grand Junction. Grand Junction's
borders do not necessarily follow street lines, so it is difficult
to describe without looking at a map. If you live on a street
that has a blue street name sign chances are you are in the
city. If your street name sign is green you are probably in
Mesa County. Maps of the city are also available in the Information
Systems Division, or you can check out our annexation
map on our GIS web site. If you have a question about whether
an address is in fact in the City of Grand Junction, please
call the Information Systems Division at 256-4070 between the
hours of 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
