The Human Resources Division ensures effective
selection, development and retention of the City's work force.
This includes recruitment; testing and selection; salary and
fringe benefit administration; and policy and procedure development.
Additional services include coordination of citywide training
programs; administration of recognition and incentive programs;
employee counseling; coordination of citywide volunteer programs;
development and administration of internships and school to
work programs; development and administration of workplace
safety and loss control programs; property and liability claims
management; and administration of the City's self-funded workers'
compensation program.
