City Youth Council

The fourteen member board was first appointed by the City Council in the fall of 2003 to give Grand Junction's youth a voice in government. . The Youth Council( CYC) advises the City Council on issues relative to youth activities and issues. Members must be between in grades 8 through 12 and attend school in Grand Junction. Members serve two year terms.

The Youth Council meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room, 2nd Floor of City Hall.
