Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
The seven member board appointed by the City Council assists in
the planning of recreation activities and helps to promote a long
range program for the development of the City's park system. Members
must be a citizen of the City and serve three year terms.
The
Board meets the first Thursday of each month at 12 noon at Two Rivers Convention Center. In addition, the Chairman of the Board
may schedule periodic study sessions to review special projects
and various other items of concern to the Board and staff.
You may apply to serve on this board by submitting a letter of
interest accompanied by an application and brief resume addressed
to the Grand Junction City Council, c/o the City Clerk, 250 N. 5th
Street, Grand Junction, CO 81501.
