Find Out if Your Neighborhood is Hosting a NNO Event
Help Us Fight Crime in Your Neighborhood

We are one day away from the 29th annual National Night Out. This year 30 neighborhoods within Grand Junction are hosting events. To find out if your neighborhood is having an event click on the National Night Out link at www.gjcity.org.

National Night Out is a nationwide, annual event in which people are encouraged to turn on their outside lights, lock their doors, and head outdoors to spend time with their neighbors and to promote safety and crime prevention in their neighborhoods. Hosts in Grand Junction neighborhoods are organizing activities ranging from cookouts, to bump-n-jumps, to ice cream socials. Grand Junction Police officers will be visiting each of the registered events to share safety information and answer questions from the residents. Members of the Grand Junction Fire Department will also be stopping by as many of the events as possible.
