The Grand Junction Police Department is investing a crash that involves a 16-year-old male who was hit by a car while he was riding his bicycle. The crash happened at the intersection of Hwy. 50 and Palmer St.
The teenager was crossing Hwy. 50 when an east bound 1997 Chevrolet hit him, knocking him from his bike. The Grand Junction Fire Department took the boy to St. Mary’s Hospital where he is being treated for multiple serious injuries.
No charges have been filed at this point, and the investigation is ongoing.
